Choose regular size for violas with a vibrating string length (not length of back) of 14" - 15" (36 - 38cm).
Choose large size for violas with a vibrating string length of 15" - 15 3/4" (38 - 40cm).
Most violas with length of back 15" - 16.5" will fit the regular size.
